We are approximately 12 Kms. away from Alcover, 25 Kms. from Reus, 40 Kms. from Tarragona, 110 Kms. from Barcelona, 300 Kms. from Valencia and 100 Kms. from Lleida.   

Local trains of the route Barcelona-Lleida/Zaragoza stop at Alcover. There are 4 o 5 every day. For those of you coming by Intercity or similar from the north (line Bilbao/etc.-Barcelona) the best option is Reus. Coming from the south (Valencia, etc.), the nearest station is Tarragona. Obviously, RENFE has the best information on time-tables. If you give us a phone call well in advance, we’ll find a suitable arrangement to make the final stretch to Mon-ral.                                                                                          

If you come by car from Barcelona, you should avoid –specially the first time-, the area of Valls, because with its rond-abouts  and no very clear traffic signs, almost everybody gets lost there. Although a couple of Kms. longer, is easier to follow on the A2 motorway and get out at Montblanc exit, then  keep on the road to Reus, and get the exit at Alcover (13 Kms. from  Montblanc). From Alcover allways uphill following traffic signs to Mont-ral.                                                                                             

From the south (Valencia, etc.) take the exit Reus/Salou and do not enter in the city but keep going on the right side of it and follow directions towards Montblanc (C 14). Alcover is 12 Kms. away from Reus.                                                                                                      

Once you go 11 Kms. up the road, you will see Mont-ral with its church. 500 mts. farther (at Km. 11.5) you’ll find a wide side road on the left, going downwards. There you will find the first sign (big white stone with black arrow). Follow the signs and when you get to Guayrapá.
